Chris has been working for our kids on Beacon Hill. He
supported funding for early childhood education and voted
for a new Board of Early Childhood Education for
Massachusetts. As Sheriff, Chris will work for safe schools
and neighborhoods. |

Chris fought for Greenfield Community
College. When Gov. Romney proposed closing GCC, Chris was one of the first to
question the Governor's plan for Higher Education. Chris led the fight to save
our community college... and won. Not only did he win, but he successfully
worked to level fund the college budget. In 2009, Chris secured 31 million in
state construction funds to complete the addition of a new library
and cafeteria at GCC and renovate the main campus building. |

Working
with Governor Patrick, Chris has 50 million in state funds
committed to the renovation and expansion of the Greenfield
Courthouse.

Chris Donelan has found a strong partner in Lt. Gov. Tim
Murray. Their friendship has resulted in badly needed
attention and resources for Franklin County. |
As Vice Chair
of the Legislatures Committee on Public Safety and Homeland
Security Chris works everyday to improve police, fire & EMS
services across the state.
